NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police in New Providence are investigating a shooting incident, which occurred on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 and left an adult male in hospital.
According to police reports, shortly after 11:00p.m. on Wednesday, a male was sitting on the outside of a home on Anderson Street, when he was approached by two armed men who demanded cash and shot him before getting into a white vehicle and speeding away.
The injured man was transported to hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Police said nothing was taken during this incident and no one else was injured.
Investigations are ongoing.
