Two murders, in two separate shooting incidents in New Providence, bumped the country’s murder count to 37 Thursday.
Police have yet to positively identify the victims who were gunned down shortly after midnight and 6:00 a.m. yesterday morning.
Police revealed that the man who was shot during a home invasion on Lobster Avenue off Baillou Hill Road, died in hospital shortly before 11:00 a.m. yesterday.
Just six hours prior, authorities confirmed that the man who was shot on Bahama Avenue and Market Street, died in hospital early Thursday morning.
Police confirmed that they have no leads at this time, however investigations are ongoing.
Authorities have appealed to the general public for its assistance in solving these crimes.

In other crime news, police in New Providence are investigating a traffic accident that occurred Wednesday, May 23, which left an adult male dead.
Investigators said shortly before 10:00 p.m., a male was driving a motor cycle north on Kemp Road, when he collided with a 2002 Nissan Skyline car and a concrete wall.
Paramedics were called to the scene and transported the rider to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Investigations are said to be ongoing.
