NASSAU, BAHAMAS — A man is dead, and two others are injured as a result of a boating incident in waters near North Andros.
Police confirmed to EWN that the trio left Andros on Sunday afternoon for the Berry Islands but encountered mechanical challenges before the boat reportedly capsized.
One of the men reportedly drowned, another reportedly swam to shore, and the other was rescued by officials and residents. The two survivors are currently receiving medical treatment.
