NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred shortly after midnight on Monday, June 9, 2025, which left a 21-year-old man dead and another 21-year-old male injured.
According to preliminary reports, a group of individuals was gathered outside a business establishment on Cordeaux Avenue when a dark-coloured Japanese-model vehicle approached. A male exited the vehicle, opened fire on the group, and then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Both victims were transported to hospital by private vehicle. One succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment, while the other remains in stable condition.
Investigations continue.
