NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Police and community volunteers on Long Island are searching for the body of an adult male resident who reportedly drowned at the Dean’s Blue Hole on Saturday 10th August, 2024.
Preliminary reports indicate that around 7:00 p.m., an adult male and others were enjoying a swim when the male reportedly dived into the blue hole and failed to resurface.
Officers, with the assistance of local scuba divers, are currently making checks for the missing male. Additional information will be provided upon the conclusion of search and rescue efforts.
