Through various initiatives, the nonprofit organization continues to equip children and their families with the resources needed to create a pleasantly memorable childhood and successfully enriched adulthood.
This year it has offered food, clothing, healthcare products, school supplies and uniforms, mentorship and financial assistance to single parents and children. A children’s home and a government school were also adopted.
“It takes a village to raise children and we are that village,” remarked Founder and President, Kashannise Hanna
“We must ensure that our future generation know they are not forgotten! There is much more work to be done and we welcome the support and assistance needed to accomplish this.”
She continued: “We are truly grateful for previous assistance received from companies such as Rubis Bahamas, Kelly’s Home Center, Caribbean Bottling (Coca Cola), Tenaj Tasty Catering, Family Guardian, Palm Breeze Food Store, Royalty Group of Companies, Design Lab, Milo Butler and K’s Kupcake Kouture.
“It is our hope that even greater acts of kindness are extended during this holiday season.
There is currently a toy and food drive going on from now until December 2nd. Items being collected are canned and dry goods, toiletries, toys, clothes, books, games and baby items.
