NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An adult male was taken into custody following the seizure of an illegal firearm and an assortment of ammunition on Friday, May 31, 2019.
According to police reports, shortly before 8:00p.m. on Friday, Central Detective Unit Officers, while at Blueberry Hill Road off Fox Hill Road, conducted a search of a man and his vehicle and recovered a 9 millimeter pistol, 70 rounds of ammunition and a small quantity of suspected marijuana.
The man was taken into custody and is expected to be formally charged before the magistrate court this week.
