NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Police are investigating an armed robbery in which a man was held at gunpoint and robbed of $8,000 while at a car wash off Brougham Street.
According to initial reports, shortly before 3:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2026, the victim was having his vehicle cleaned when two unknown men approached him. One of the suspects produced a firearm and pointed it at him while the other searched his left pants pocket and removed cash.
The suspects fled the area on an XTZ motorcycle, traveling south along Baillou Hill Road before turning west onto Dunmore Street.
Investigations are ongoing.
