GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS–Police in Grand Bahama seized a firearm at a residence shortly after 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19th, 2025.
Initial reports indicate that officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit, acting on information, executed a search warrant at a residence on Westeria Avenue, where a firearm, along with a quantity of ammunition, was discovered. In addition, a small amount of hydroponic Marijuana was also found.
Consequently, the 33-year-old male occupant was taken into custody and is assisting with the investigation.
