NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police in Grand Bahama are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an American visitor that occurred on Thursday 27th June, 2024, at Bottle Bay.
Preliminary reports indicate that around 5:00 p.m., the 69-year-old victim from Arkansas was
snorkeling with family and friends when he became unresponsive.
The victim was administered CPR and subsequently transported to the hospital by EMS personnel where he succumbed, police said.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
