Former MP Philip Galanis dead at 70

NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Former MP Philip Galanis, 70, was found dead at his residence. Galanis served as the Managing Partner of HLB Bahamas and was a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), as well as a Chartered Accountant (CA) and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). Bethel Brother Morticians were seen taking away the body of the prominent accountant this morning. Prime Minister Philip Davis described Mr Galanis as a Phil “not only a progressive warrior and a nation builder; he was a man of unshakable integrity, candid in his views, and truthful to his convictions.”
