EXUMA, BAHAMAS — On Thursday, 10th April 2025, Drug Enforcement Officers, along with the Marine Support Services Branch, confiscated a quantity of suspected marijuana and a large sum of cash, which led to the arrest of a 31-year-old Exuma native.
Preliminary reports indicate that around 2:00 p.m., officers executed a search warrant at a residence in Steventon, where they discovered the suspected marijuana and cash totaling $42,256.00. The lone male occupant was cautioned and arrested in connection with the possession of dangerous drugs with intent to supply. Furthermore, the cash was confiscated as suspected proceeds of crime.
The suspected marijuana weighs 1 lb. 3 oz. with an estimated street value of $1,000.00. The investigation continues.
