Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon Hubert Minnis, yesterday toured key facilities on the island of Exuma.

In addition to being part of the official opening of the Office of the Prime Minister’s Exuma office, Minnis and other key personnel including Minister of State for the Public Service and National Insurance, Brensil Rolle and Member of Parliament for the Exumas and Ragged Island, Chester Cooper, got a first hand look at the plight of both the Exuma International Airport as well as the island’s hospital.

According to Cooper, the Exuma economy is experiencing one of its best years ever and the government has taken notice. As a result, it is pledging to match the vigor of the island’s populous and upgrade the main island’s public facilities.
