NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Energy minister JoBeth Coleby-Davis explains where the proposed $5.00 late fee for Bahamas Power & Light (BPL) consumer bills originated. Coleby-Davis, while dismissing suggestions that the $5.00 late fee was a definite decision by the government, asserted that her main priority is to ensure that residents receive efficient and reliable energy.
