DPM says shark activity regulations are a possibility

NASSAU, BAHAMAS- On the heels of a 10-year-old tourist being bitten by a shark at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island on Monday afternoon, Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper says a Cabinet sub-committee has been formed which will oversee the formulation of regulations that will “possibly,” regulate activities involving sharks.

The Cabinet sub-committee is being led by Minister of the Environment Vaughn Miller.
