NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Controversial national issues including marital rape and the legalization of cannabis are expected to top the agenda at the Progressive Liberal Party’s national convention slated for November 9th-11th at the Baha Mar Resort. PLP Secretary General Barbara Cartwright also announced that the deadline for nominations ahead of the PLP’s convention is Thursday, October 25th.
