Chisholm impressing in Arizona Fall League

Jasrado Chisholm continues to impress the Arizona Diamondbacks front office during his time in the Arizona Fall League (AFL).
The No.3 ranked prospect in the Diamondbacks association is currently hitting a team best .417 and has a .750 slugging percentage. He’s also put together four multi-hit games in his time with the Salt River Rafters.
Despite just missing out on a spot in the AFL All-Star Game, Chisholm, who’s known for his upbeat personality, said he doesn’t get to high or too low about anything that takes place during the season.
“You’ve got to understand that if you go 1-3 or 1-10, you can bounce right back with a 4-4 game,” Chisholm said in a recent interview.
“One thing the Diamondbacks coaches tell me is that I’m way better when I’m trying less. Whether it be running, throwing, fielding or hitting. So I try to stay calm and not overdo anything.”
Chisholm came into the AFL off of a strong season in the Cal League.
He posted a .329/.369 line with 10 home runs for Visalia.
