BREAKING: Grant questioned by police over viral video

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Free National Movement (FNM) candidate Bishop Ricardo Grant was questioned by police today in relation to allegations made by a man in a viral video where he claimed that Grant had “the bag” while flashing wads of cash.

The man offered cash to constituents who were willing to sell their vote in the Grand Bahama & Bimini Bye-election.

Police confirmed to Eyewitnesses News that during questioning Grant denied any knowledge or relation to suspect and was released.

Officials noted that at no time was Grant under arrest.

Police further revealed that they have not been able to retrieve or locate any of the funds displayed in that viral video after an extensive search. However, authorities are of the view that the funds were real.

Two other individuals have also been questioned by police; the suspect’s brother and a reported friend of the suspect.
