Atlantis unveils major 2026 redevelopment with full transformation of The Cove

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Atlantis Paradise Island is set to launch one of its most ambitious redevelopment drives yet in 2026, announcing a full transformation of The Cove as the resort accelerates its multi-year push to redefine luxury hospitality in the Caribbean.

The overhaul—scheduled to begin in spring 2026—will span all 600 luxury suites at The Cove, its signature pool, public spaces, dining venues, and a range of guest amenities. The resort confirmed that The Cove will remain open throughout the renovation.

The project builds on the recent upgrades to The Royal and the Atlantis Casino and forms part of a broader expansion of guest offerings slated for next year. Visitors can expect a slate of new “only at Atlantis” experiences, multiple full-service restaurants, a new Beach Club, and the return of the Imperial Club at The Royal. A renewed Mandara Spa and an expanded sports facility will also anchor the next phase of Atlantis’ evolution.

Atlantis’ retail portfolio—already regarded as the region’s best—will see further expansion. A bespoke Tiffany & Co. boutique debuts this month, with Lalique and Creed set to open in spring 2026, followed by Dylan’s Candy Bar and Vineyard Vines later in the year. Jacquemus opened at the resort in November.

Altogether, the upcoming projects are expected to create more than 350 full-time jobs.

“This investment highlights Atlantis’ deep commitment to our guests, our team, and The Bahamas as a premier destination,” said Audrey Oswell, President and Managing Director of Atlantis Paradise Island. “Following the recent successful upgrades to The Royal Towers and the Atlantis Casino, these new projects will further enrich the experiences our guests love and introduce exciting new offerings in 2026.”
