NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Police recovered a stolen 2014 Chevy Suburban Tuesday evening after the vehicle was reportedly found abandoned in bushes near Coral Harbour Beach, hours after it had been reported missing from a residence in Ocean Estates, Paradise Island.
On Tuesday, 19th May 2026, shortly before 1:00 p.m., the complainant reported to Paradise Island Police Station that some unknown person(s) had stolen his 2014 Chevy Suburban L/P # AG4919 from the driveway at his residence located in Ocean Estates, Paradise Island. The vehicle was reportedly stolen between 8:00 p.m. on 18th May 2026 and 6:30 p.m. on 19th May 2026.
Shortly after 7:00 p.m., police received a report of a suspicious vehicle left unattended in the bushes near Coral Harbour Beach and responded to the scene. Upon arrival, police confirmed that the vehicle was the complainant’s and had been reported stolen earlier.
The investigation continues.
