NASSAU, BAHAMAS — On Thursday, August 22, 2024, police in Abaco arrested an adult male during a traffic stop after discovering an unlicensed firearm.
According to reports, around 1:30 a.m., officers noticed a white Honda Fit being driven recklessly on S. C. Bootle Highway. The vehicle was stopped, and upon searching the driver, who was the sole occupant, officers found a firearm with ammunition in his possession, leading to his arrest.
Investigations are ongoing.
