Youth, Sports and Culture Minister visits summer camps, encouraging youth engagement and artistic growth

NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Minister of Youth, Sports, and Culture Mario Bowleg, along with representatives from his ministry, is conducting a tour of summer camps this week, visiting several of his Ministry’s summer camps on New Providence. The Ministry’s summer camps invited young people to spend time egaged in a range of activities.

Today the Minister visited the Music Summer Camp at Albury Sayles Primary before heading to Stephen Dillett Primary for the all-boys and small children’s art summer camps. Additional stops included Carlton Francis and South Beach Pools.

On Friday, Minister Bowleg will continue his tour, visiting HO Nash, Blue Hill Sporting Complex, and Thomas A. Robinson Track & Field Stadium, also beginning at 9:3o am. Members of the press will join the Minister and his team during these visits to highlight the importance of youth engagement throughout July’s activities.
