NASSAU, BAHAMAS — A young boy was shot and killed during a drive-by shooting outside a residence in Nassau Village.
According to police, the occupant of a blue vehicle approached a residence at Esmaralda Avenue and Alexander Blvd and opened fire on a group of people standing outside shortly before 9pm on Sunday.
Assistant Superintendent Audley Peters said the boy was found lying face down on the ground with gunshot injuries.
He was later pronounced unresponsive by Emergency Medical Services at the scene.
No further details on the victim were provided at this time.
