NASSAU, BAHAMAS- On the heels of growing concerns about the expansions of shanty towns in Abaco, Public Works Minister Clay Sweeting says a task force, assigned to address shanty town matters, will be assessing the unregulated communities sometime next year as the government’s shanty town shutdown exercise continues. It is expected that Abaco will be the first Family Island to be assessed in the new year, according to Sweeting.
