NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police on the Island of New Providence are searching for two men responsible for an armed robbery which occurred last Thursday, January 17.
According to police reports, shortly after noon, a female was walking in the parking lot of a strip mall on Madeira Street, when she was approached by two men, one armed with a firearm, who robbed her of her handbag which contained cash and other personal items.
The men fled in a blue coloured vehicle.
Police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time of this incident and may have information that can assist their investigation, to call the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991/2 or the nearest police station.
Investigations are ongoing.
