NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Monday April 21, 2025, shortly after 5:00 a.m. at a residence in Pinewood Gardens.
According to the preliminary report, a female arrived at her residence on Sequoia Street and fell asleep inside her vehicle. A short time later, a male approached the vehicle and shined a flashlight in her face, police said.
The male suspect then produced a firearm and robbed her of cash and a cellphone, according to investigators.
He then fled the scene in an unknown direction, authorities confirmed.
Investigations continue into this matter.
