Voting extended until 4:00 a.m. EST tomorrow (Nov. 29)
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Miss World Bahamas Brinique Gibson needs your support to help her advance to the next round of the Miss World competition.
The national beauty queen is representing The Bahamas in fine form at the pageant now underway in Sanya, China, and is capturing the attention of pageant fans worldwide as one to watch in the competition.
However, in order to move on to round two of the Head-to-Head Challenge, she needs the support of her own people.
Since voting began several days ago, many Bahamians have expressed frustration after having trouble voting on the Miss World website. The issue was brought to the attention of the Miss World Organization (MWO) and steps were taken to remedy the situation. Considering this, MWO has announced that due to record high voting figures, to ensure that all have a chance to vote, the voting of the Head to Head Challenge has been extended until Nov. 30 at 5:00 p.m. LST, which is November 29, 4:00 a.m. eastern standard time.
A video is circulating on social media showing Bahamians how to vote for Brinique on the Miss World website.
That video can be found on the Miss Bahamas Organization and Miss World – Bahamas Facebook pages.
All Bahamians who have not already done so are invited to vote for our queen on the website. However, votes are needed on all platforms. The ways to vote are as follows:
- Like the OFFICIAL Miss World Contestant Facebook Page www.facebook.com/Miss-World- Bahamas.
- Vote on the Miss World Website (watch the video for step by step instructions on how to vote)
- Like and comment on Brinique’s photos and videos on the MobStar app. Once you download the app and login, type Bahamas in the search bar at the top of the screen, then click on Brinique. To vote on Mobstar, swipe the photo or video to the RIGHT. Once you see the word “yes”, that indicates that your vote has been counted.
