NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Two men and a minor were arraigned in the Magistrate’s Court today on a series of charges relating to an armed robbery in Lowe Sound, Andros.
A 15-year-old boy; Kirk Evans, 20; and Montel Campbell 24; all of Lowe Sound Andros, appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
The juvenile was charged with armed robbery, Evans was charged with one count of abetment to armed robbery and Campbell was charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm.
The prosecution alleged that the young boy, armed with a silver and black 9mm pistol, robbed the property of J’naes Hair and Beauty Supply store of $80 cash on August 28.
He was also accused of robbing Melanie Colebrook of one white wallet which contained $200 and two Alcatel cell phones valued at $90 each.

The juvenile, who was accompanied by a legal guardian, was not required to enter a plea.
He was remanded to Simpson Penn Centre for Boys and is expected to return to court for a Voluntary Bill of Indictment (VBI) on November 3, 2020.
The two men were also not required to enter a plea.
They were advised of their right to apply for bail in the Supreme Court and remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.
