NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The Anti-Gang & Firearms Investigation Taskforce arrested a 29-year-old female and a 34-year-old male after reportedly seizing a large amount of suspected drugs from an apartment complex on Carmichael Road west.
Preliminary reports from police indicate that shortly before 3:00 a.m. on Thursday 24th October, 2024, officers executed a search warrant at two units of a triplex apartment. In unit one, an adult female was arrested after a quantity of suspected cocaine and marijuana was discovered. In unit two, an adult male was arrested following the discovery of a quantity of suspected marijuana in his apartment.
Investigations are ongoing.
