NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Apostle Ed Watson, lead pastor of Trinity City of Praise and his wife, Prophetess Lee Watson, will lead the Trinity City of Praise Prayer Rally on January 25 at 7:30 p.m.
The rally will be held at Trinity City of Praise on Trinity Hill off Tonique Williams-Darling Highway.
Speaking to Eyewitness News Online on Wednesday, Apostle Watson expressed that last year, The Bahamas faced many challenges and issues, to the point where there were numerous protests and demonstrations.
The lead pastor said many were left discouraged, disappointed and disillusioned about the future and they still question if there would be a change.
According to Apostle Watson, prayers at the rally will be released against crime, violence, murder, poverty and unemployment.
“We will pray for the nation’s youth, education and economy, for peace, blessings, and a quiet hurricane season,” Apostle Watson said. “Recognizing the critical and challenging times in which we live, there is a mutual understanding that only God can heal and deliver our land.”
Apostle Watson is hoping for The Bahamas to experience a move and visitation from God, to bring revival and renewal.
He said that many Bahamians are searching for hope for the future, and this rally will offer encouragement that change will take place for a better Bahamas.
