A man is dead after being hit by a bus when he was attempting to cross the street in Grand Bahama yesterday.
The unidentified victim was struck by a 2001 blue Van Tour Bus traveling along Coral Road and Settlers Way around 8 a.m. yesterday. The male pedestrian died at the scene and police are investigating the matter.
This is the latest in a series of incidents involving the company in the past few weeks.
Last week the company’s head office on Queen’s Highway, caught fire. Days later the busses from its fleet ran into a night club and now this traffic fatality.
Investigations into all these incidents are ongoing.
