Tourist’s arm severed in boating incident on GB

Police on Grand Bahama are investigating a boating incident what left one American tourist in serious condition in hospital Friday.

Intelligence said shortly after 3:00 p.m., police were called to a marina in West End where there was an incident involving an American-owned vessel and a group of American visitors that were reportedly driving in the area.

One of the male visitors received serious injuries where his left arm was severed.

He was transported to the Rand Memorial and is listed in serious condition.

Investigations are ongoing.
