Police said yesterday that reports of a young woman found hanging in a Paradise Island (PI) hotel room by a cable chord are true.
Carla Van Eeden from South Africa, was a guest of the Atlantis resort.
Van Eeden, 25, was found by police, hanging by a chord behind the bathroom door in her hotel room.
Reports came in around 8:00 a.m. that Van Eeden, who arrived on Monday and appeared to have traveled by herself, had left a lasting impression on a few locals she had met during her short stay including a taxi driver, who chose to remain anonymous. He spoke to Eyewitness News about his encounter with the young woman and their search for a camera cord.
