Tourism officials are reaping the benefits of fully integrating its marketing initiatives on the digital platform.
Tourism Director General Joy Jibrilu recently said the industry has witnessed record-breaking numbers this year with more and more people flocking to social media for a recommendation on where to visit, when to visit and cost.
Jibrilu added that the ministry also placed keen attention in the Family Islands, that has also had a significant boost in visitor arrivals with a focus on stories that people want to hear about.
Jibrilu said it has proven to be a recipe for success.
