Another Bahamian baseball player has made it to the major league, as Chavez Fernander was yesterday drafted in the 35th round and 1035 overall by the Detroit Tigers.
Fernander previously played for Polk State College. He had 39 strikeouts in 18 games this past season for the Eagles.
