Three men shot on Monday night; one stable, two critical

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Three men are fighting for their lives in hospital after they were shot multiple times on Monday night.

According to police reports, shortly before 8:00 p.m. on Monday, a group of men were at the rear of a building on Milton Street when they were approached by a male armed with a firearm, who opened fire in their direction, injuring three men before running away.

The injured men were transported to hospital, where two of them are listed in stable condition, and the other in serious condition.

Police on the Island of New Providence are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the person responsible for this shooting incident.

Police are appealing to members of the public who may have information concerning this incident, to contact the Central Detective Unit at 502-9991/2.

Investigations are ongoing.
