Teen charged with murder

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Wesley Delhomme, 19, appeared on Tuesday before Chief Magistrate Joyanne Ferguson-Pratt, charged with the shooting death of James Dalean.

Delhomme was also charged with attempting to murder Kevin Telusnord, Walton Garconville, and Bryan Morley.

The defendant was not required to enter a plea and was denied bail. He was remanded to The Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until July 17thfor a Voluntary Bill of Indictment.

According to police reports, shortly before 11:00 p.m. on May 28th, three men were walking on Raymond Road when they were approached by three armed men, who opened fire in their direction, injuring them before running away.

The injured men were transported to hospital, where a short time later Dalean was pronounced dead.
