NASSAU, BAHAMAS- After winning alongside Honduras in 2018 The Bahamas is ranked No. 1 in the 2019 Davis Cup currently underway in Costa Rica. Sitting on Top of Pool A The Bahamas will face Antigua and Barbuda, Costa Rica (host country), US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico in round robin during the course of the week. Tomorrow at 9:00am at the Costa Rica Country Club the first opponent will be Antigua & Barbuda.
On the other side of the draw lies Pool B with Honduras, Cuba, Panama, Jamaica, Trinidad &Tobago and Bermuda. The Bahamas is hoping to emerge on top of the pool for the opportunity to compete in the finals of this prestigious tournament.
