NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Bahamas Union of Teachers President Belinda Wilson did not mince her words when she told the media on Friday morning that politics and unions don’t mix. Her comments followed recent criticism from union leaders who had previously signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Progressive Liberal Party (PLP) while it was in opposition. Nearly three years later, these union heads are now criticizing the government for not honoring the MOU they signed.
