NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Mike Strachan capped off a historic season for the Charleston Golden Eagles on Saturday, finishing with three receptions for 128 yards and a touchdown in a 34-26 win over West Liberty in the season finale.
Strachan, a redshirt junior wide receiver had over 1,000 yards (1,319) and 19 touchdowns on the season and broke a number of school records. He also led the Mountain East Conference in each category and was second overall in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II.
Strachan caught touchdown passes in 10 of 11 games this season, including six multi-touchdown games.
The Golden Eagles finished the regular season with an 8-3 record.
