Police are investigating a stabbing incident which left a female dead yesterday.
According to reports, shortly before 6:00 pm, a young woman was walking on Key West Street, when a silver Honda vehicle stopped next to her. Three females came from the vehicle, armed with sharp instruments. The females stabbed the woman about her body before getting back into the vehicle and speeding off. The victim was taken to hospital and later pronounced dead.
Police have taken five adult females and two adult males into custody in connection with this matter.
Investigations are ongoing.
