As summer gives way to fall, Solomon’s Fresh Market is celebrating the changing seasons with its 5th Annual Freshtival celebration.
This Saturday, the store will officially kick off the harvest season with events at the Old Fort Bay and Harbour Bay locations.
During the event, shoppers can take part in a craft market while sampling vendor products and enjoying live entertainment.
To bring the Freshtival theme to life, each location has been transformed with pumpkin displays, old fashion barrels, corn stalks and bales setting the tone for a seasonal celebration.
Naomi Grant, Brand Manager at Solomon’s Fresh Market said the event is family-focused and has become a tradition that customers look forward to each fall.
“Our Frestival event is a fun way for us to move into a new season. We celebrate harvest by highlighting seasonal produce and groceries our patrons enjoy during this time of year,” Grant explained.
“It’s a way to bring the community together and as the holidays are approaching, we also take the opportunity to showcase products that shoppers use to make the festive season more memorable.”
This is the fifth year that Solomon’s has put on events celebrating the harvest season. Freshtival begins at noon on Saturday, October 27 and runs until 4:00 p.m.
In addition to sampling and live entertainment, there will be free face painting, popcorn, cotton candy and character drawings. The event will end with a Junkanoo Rush Out.
