Shooting in Grand Bahama leaves male hospitalized

Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a shooting incident that has left a male hospitalized.  According to police reports, shortly before 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, police were called to the International Bazaar at a business establishment where gunshots were reportedly heard.

Police say that further investigations revealed that a male victim, while at the International Bazaar in his vehicle, was shot several times about the body. The victim reportedly drove himself to the rand memorial hospital to seek medical attention.

Police are appealing to anyone with any information that can assist with this investigation to call the Central Detective Unit at 350-3107, 911, 919 or call your nearest police station.
