NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The Aircraft Accident Investigation Authority has released preliminary details on the fatal plane crash that occurred on September 12, 2024, citing severe weather and engine failure as contributing factors.
The Piper Aztec PA-23-250 was en route from Nassau to Andros before the pilot ditched the aircraft 8 miles west of Nassau. Six people were onboard, with two tragically losing their lives.
