NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Central Bank of The Bahamas has launched Sand Dollar 2.0, featuring additional upgrades and enhancements, including seamless integration with commercial banks.
During a press conference held Monday morning, Central Bank Governor John Rolle noted that a quiet release took place in June.
The Sand Dollar, a digital version of the Bahamian dollar, is issued by the Central Bank of The Bahamas through authorized financial institutions (AFIs).
