Royal Caribbean Extends Proposal Deadline for Bahamian-Owned Businesses at the Royal Beach Club
NASSAU, BAHAMAS– Royal Caribbean has extended the deadline for Bahamian businesses to submit proposals to become part of the 17-acre Royal Beach Club on Paradise Island. Following the announcement of numerous business opportunities earlier this month, Royal Caribbean has received a positive response from Bahamian entrepreneurs eager to help create the ultimate beach day experience.
Business opportunities range from facility and pool maintenance to landscaping and local ticket sales, offering a variety of ways for Bahamian companies to contribute.
“We’re excited about the response to this project and are thrilled with the enthusiasm we’ve seen since opening the requests for proposals,” said Philip Simon, President of Royal Caribbean Bahamas. “These upcoming business awards are key to ensuring we deliver on our promise of a Bahamian-driven attraction that benefits the economy and creates both entrepreneurial and employment opportunities for Bahamians.”
Businesses submitting proposals will join the growing list of Bahamian companies already involved in the Royal Beach Club development, including Island Site Design (ISD), Bahamas Environmental Group (BEG), Engineering and Technical Services (ETS), Wemco, JSS Environmental Consulting Services, and SEV Consulting Group. These companies are integral to the project’s construction, which began in April 2024.
