RF announces winner of ‘When Returns Meet Goals’ campaign

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — On the heels of a mutual fund campaign encouraging Bahamians to invest that ended last year, RF Bank & Trust (RF) yesterday announced the winner of the highly anticipated “When Returns Meet Goals” promotion.

The promotion highlighted the August 2021 12-month returns of two low to moderate-risk funds with portfolios of Bahamian equity and/or fixed-income securities. These included the 9.8 percent returns for the RF Targeted Equity Fund and 6.9 percent returns for the RF Secure Balanced Fund.

To add icing on the cake, clients that invested in any of RF’s top-performing mutual funds were then entered to win a grand prize of $1,000.

Rachael Allahar, group head of marketing and public relations at RF, said: “It’s our way of fostering a wealth mindset in Bahamians.

“We’re committed to helping clients create and manage wealth to achieve their goals. Awarding additional funds to investors that are actively trying to grow wealth is definitely a prime example of that.”

One lucky client hailing from Nassau ended up victorious. The grand prize winner, Jacqueline Beneby-Cooper, walked away with the $1,000 prize in the mutual fund of her choice.

David Van Onselen, vice president, Mutual Funds and Business Development, said: “Investments work best with consistent contributions to your account thanks to compound interest.

“Couple that with rates of return that far exceed what is earned from bank deposits and it’s an unbeatable strategy to reach your financial goals faster.”

While the promotion may have ended, RF continues to offer the best-performing mutual funds to Bahamians.
