NASSAU, BAHAMAS- The soul stirring, foot tapping, hand clapping songs that lift the spirits and spark fond memories of yesteryear will billow through the Spotlight Lounge this weekend. The legendary Region Bells and the acclaimed Dynamic Features will take the stage for a lively concert featuring everyone’s favourite rhyming spirituals.
The event, entitled: “The Concert of Rhyming Spirituals”, will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025 beginning at 5pm. The Region Bells Gospel Group, one the oldest singing groups in The Bahamas, celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2023. The singers are not only local sensations, but are internationally acclaimed artists who bring unique a capella renditions and praise-lifting selections. The Region Bells have, for decades, highlighted Bahamian history and folklore, and kept the spirit of a Christian nation alive through song.
The Dynamic Features are also set to blow the crowd away with some of the best Bahamian spirituals performed on stage. These great signers have prepared a spectacular list of melodies that are nearest and dearest for lovers of classic spirituals.
The Old Time Religion experience that creates unforgettable memories for many will come alive at the Spotlight Lounge, which is located just east of the Coral Harbour Roundabout.
