More than 2,000 children signed up to participate in the 25th annual summer camp hosted by the Royal Bahamas Police Force (RBPF).
The camps, which are stationed at multiple locations around the country, will provide a holistic environment for youth especially those from disadvantaged communities.
With so many negative influences impacting youth, National Security Minister Marvin Dames called for more involvement from the wider community in helping to raise the younger members of Bahamian society.
