As Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) customers reel from the scam that affected many of their bank accounts earlier this week, members of the Royal Bahamas Police Force’s (RBPF) Cybercrimes Unit revealed how thieves obtained bank user information from automated teller machines (ATM).
Police also encouraged all members of the public to be vigilant when using ATMs to ensure they do not fall victim to one of these schemes.
